Early December Outings

We decided we had to have a Christmas tree because it was Hazel's first Christmas. Hazel loved the lights. We were on a walk one night and she was crying. Every time we would pass a house with lights, she would stop crying and stare at the lights. Once we passed the house, the crying returned. Grant and I got a good laugh out of this behavior.

Brit and her boyfriend, Ethan, stopped by the house to meet Hazel. Brit is a close friend from college who recently returned from Norway. She has lived in Norway for the past year and a half. It was fabulous to see her and Ethan.

Hazel spends a great deal of time in her car seat. She enjoys her walks and car rides. I enjoy comparing these pictures with the picture of her first car ride (from the hospital to home). She has really grown. Our last visit (which was at 8 weeks), she was 12 pounds, 10 ounces and 23 and 1/4 inches. This placed her in the 90th percentile for both height and weight!!! She is a good eater.
