After Seattle, we took a ferry over to Bainbridge Island to spend Christmas with Grammy (my mom) and Grand Don (my stepfather). It was extremely relaxing and beautiful. Hazel turned 3 months old on the 23rd. We celebrated with a nice walk along the sound on Bainbridge Island. On Christmas day, we experienced a great deal of snow.
Here are a few photos from Christmas on Bainbridge Island...

I think Grammy wins with the best Christmas gift. Hazel is absolutely enamored with her new toy. This toy has given us many peaceful meals. She grabs for the various parts and is able to hit the nose to change the music. This is one of my favorite photos (taken by Grant). It definitely captures her pensive look, which graces her face most of the time.
After Bainbridge, We traveled over to Levenworth, Washington to see my father (pappa), his wife (Deb), and Deb's children. It was a wonderful few days in an absolutely gorgeous setting. Getting to Levenworth took about 5 hours. The pass was very snowy. Hazel did absolutely fabulous in the car. She played with a toy in the back seat (by herself) for almost 30 minutes straight. Grant and I sat in the front and just smiled at how much she has changed in 13 weeks. She is such a joy!!!
Here is Hazel and her daddy. She definitely enjoyed having Grant home for an entire week.
There was lots of Snow in Levenworth. Grant and I got to slip away just the two of us (thanks dad and deb) for a few hours of snow shoeing through this beautiful setting.
