Summer 2009
We had a wonderful summer. It was full of great weather and many fabulous memories. Here is a brief summary of the last few months.
We went camping with the Jendritza family on the Columbia river. It was, as always, a wonderful weekend. We lucked out the weather and having their trailer helps so much with kids. Hazel got a nasty bee sting right above her eye, which resulted in her being fearful of all flying bugs. It did not help that there was a bee hive by our campsite. Hazel did great sleeping in a tent and playing in the river, but by the end of the weekend she was ready to go home (due to not napping). This first picture is a snap shot of her experiences on the last day.

In August, we traveled to Bend, Oregon for my Brit and Ethan's wedding. It was a fun weekend and Brit was the most beautiful bride (sorry I have no photos right now). I always love seeing my girls from college. Hazel loved spending time with cupcake (my friend Sarah's dog).

This is the hat that I bought Hazel because it is so cute. The only problem is that she will not wear anything on her head. Oh well...
In early July, we celebrated Grandmama's birthday. The kids loved the cupcakes.
Over fourth of July we traveled to Sun Valley, Idaho with the Jendritza family (our college trip to Tahoe was postponed until next year due to Brit's wedding). Hazel went Jet Skiing with Grant. She had a blast. The weather was a little cold, but the weekend was wonderful.
